Beach, Eco-Tours and Party Combination
Laidback Puerto Jimenez beach sits as one of the main gateways to incredible Corcovado National Park that teems with diverse wildlife. It’s one of the largest towns on the Osa Peninsula, so hotels and restaurants are not hard to find from affordable to luxurious. Similarly you will not want for something to do with dolphin watching, hiking, kayaking, rapelling, mountain biking and world class sport fishing tours all available. The town does have a somewhat party reputation with a varied nightlife.
Getting to Puerto Jimenez is east by bus or car, although it can be a long drive. You can also fly in to the town’s airport from San Jose. Nearby is also the remote Cabo Matapalo beach which is known for its awesome surf breaks.
