World’s Most Expensive Flip Flop Costa Rica Bound

World's Most Expensive Flip Flop

The U.S. footwear company Chipkos, www.chipkos.com has designed what has been deemed as the World’s Most Expensive Flip Flop with a spin….. the hand painted pieces of art will benefit the endangered rain forest in Costa Rica. Need to know more… just keep reading.

With the help of Los Angeles artist David Palmer and in combination with Chipkos environmental campaign, “Stand for Square Feet” (the actual design of the sandal is square), the one of a kind sandal hopes to bring in $18,000 US and will directly benefit 100,000 sq. feet of Costa Rica’s rain forest.

If you can’t afford the price tag, Chipkos also provides the fashion footwear at $42 with the same style only in different prints and colors, with protection of 100 sq. ft of rain forest land included.

The Flip Flops are receiving an enormous amount of attention for U.S. media in the hope of attracting a buyer. It’s a perfect acquisition for a philanthropist who has everything. It’s not a pair of flip flops but a piece of art! They come in their own display case, making them easy to showcase!
