Love In The Wild Oasis Arenal Naraya HotelEveryone’s asking where is NBC’s reality series “Love In The Wild” filmed? Easy answer in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, the location of Arenal Volacano, La Fortuna waterfall and some of the best adventure activities to be found!

La Fortuna is a rural town located in the province of Alajuela, Costa Rica. It’s near to Arenal Volcano one of the world’s most active volcanoes. La Fortuna is less than 7 miles from the Arenal’s peak and less than 12 miles from entrance to Arenal Volcano National Park. In addition to the volcano, La Fortuna is the setting for the waterfall “La Catarata de la Fortuna” which falls from a height of 70 meters. There are several natural hot-spring resorts in the area and adventure activities including bungee jumping, canyoneering, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hanging bridges, zip-lines, mountain biking, kayaking, and ATV or dirt bike rentals. Nearby there’s a butterfly farm and Venado Cavern tours.

As to the “Cabins” and the “Oasis” where much of the inter couples action took place, reports place the resorts as the Arenal Kokoro Hotel in La Fortuna http://www.arenalkokoro.com/ where the name Kokoro is from the Japanese term meaning “heart and soul” with the cabins planned to take into consideration the surrounding natural environment and the Oasis Nayara Hotel also in La Fortuna http://www.arenalnayara.com. A third location set the stage for the couples pool playtimes at the Princesa De La Luna Ecolodge http://princesadelalunaecolodge.com/Ingles/index.html which is an eco lodge set on 25 acres of Costa Rica rainforest and a tropical plant farm with more than 100 types of  tree species and a natural sanctuary to a multitude of Costa Rican wildlife. These are all very luxe resorts in Costa Rica set in beautiful backdrops of the Costa Rica jungle, mountains and of course the majestic Arenal Volcano!
